About Care4Paws
Care4Paws, LLC is a family-owned pet care business based in Mankato, dedicated to providing exceptional in-home pet care services. As a husband-and-wife team, we bring years of experience, trust, and commitment to keeping your pets happy, safe, and well cared for.
Heather and Eric met in 2016 when Eric was the cat specialist and Heather was a certified volunteer dog walker for Blue Earth Nicollet Humane Society. Their love of animals is what brought them together. Both wanted a household full of rescue cats and dogs. In 2018 they were married at the very place they met, BENCHS! In lieu of wedding gifts, they requested donations be made to BENCHS and their wonderful guests, friends and family, generously donated a total of $1,800 to BENCHS. Their dream of having a house full of rescue animals has come true with them having a number of cats and dogs of their own, as well as fostering small animals.

As a therapy team, they would visit hospital patients, nursing homes, schools, etc. and bring smile therapy to all they visited.
Heather is extremely passionate about making sure other peoples’ pets are cared for in the same way her pets are cared for – loved, spoiled, safe, and happy in her C.A.R.E. [Careful & Compassionate, Available, Reliable, and Energetic]!
Heather has an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science (AAS) in accounting, and over 10 years of experience as an accountant. Over her working life, she has held many different positions.
