What we can offer for services
Tailored Care for Pets
At Care4Paws, LLC, we understand that every pet is unique. That’s why our services are customized to suit your pet’s specific preferences and requirements.
* Pet Waste Clean-Up: 30 mins or until the job is done, whichever is first – $20
* Drop-In Visits (i.e., only need medication administration, etc.) – $15
* Intravenous Fluid Administration (pet owner must provide supplies & fluids needed for their pet) – $20
* Nail/claw clipping (Eric – Cats; Heather – Guinea Pigs) – $15**
* Flight feather wing trimming (Heather has experience doing this on cockatiels specifically) – $10
** If an animal won’t let us clip their nails or feathers, we will make sure to let you know. You will obviously not be charged. Not every animal will cooperate with their nails or feathers being touched/cut. Please let us know, ahead of time, if they have a history of biting, due to this, or any other reason.
DOG CARE
visits
- 30 min visits/3x day/per dog*
- Feeding (owner provided)
- Treats (anything you want us to give to them)
- Clean water
- 1:1 playtime
- Visit updates (videos and/or photos sent to your choice of text message or email)
- – We are NOT able to board any dogs
- *If your dog(s) requires more than 3x/day visits, please discuss with us to see if we can meet your requirements
CAT CARE
visits
- 30 min visits/1x day/no limit on number of cats*
- Feeding (owner provided)
- Treats (anything you want us to give to them)
- Clean water
- 1:1 playtime
- Litter box(es) cleaning
- Visit updates (videos and/or photos sent to your choice of text message or email)
- – We are NOT able to board any cats
- *If your cat(s) requires more than 1x/day visits, please discuss with us to see if we can meet your requirements
SMALL ANIMALS
visits
- Bunnies, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, Ferrets, Chinchillas, Hedgehogs, Iguanas, Birds (Heather specifically has experience with Cockatiels & Parakeets)
- 30 min visits/1x day*
- Feeding (owner provided)
- Treats (anything you want us to give to them)
- Clean water
- 1:1 playtime (if requested, as we know this is N/A sometimes)
- Litter box(es) cleaning, if applicable
- Visit updates (videos and/or photos sent to your choice of text message or email)
- We are able to occasionally be able to take care of a small animal, if it’s okay being in the same bedroom as our foster small animals from Mending Spirits Animal Rescue, which currently are Guinea Pigs. A nominal fee may apply. Please discuss with us if this is a needed service.
- *If your small animal(s) requires more than 1x/day visits, please discuss with us to see if we can meet your requirements
POCKET PET
visits
- Fish, frogs, mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters, sugar gliders, etc.
- 30 min visits/1x day*
- Feeding (owner provided)
- Treats (anything you want us to give to them)
- Clean water
- 1:1 playtime (if requested, as we know this is N/A sometimes)
- Litter box(es) cleaning, if applicable
- Visit updates (videos and/or photos sent to your choice of text message or email)
- We are able to occasionally be able to take care of a pocket pet animal, if it’s okay being in the same bedroom as our foster small animals from Mending Spirits Animal Rescue, which currently are Guinea Pigs. A nominal fee may apply. Please discuss with us if this is a needed service.

Our coverage area is the city limits of Mankato, North Mankato, and Eagle Lake. Outside of these city limits, we will have the right to charge $0.50/mile.
Included with your pet care & visits, if requested and/or applicable:
– Medication Administration (i.e. eye drops, ear cleaning, oral (syringe, pill, powder)) and/or Supplements Administration (i.e. dasuquin/cosequin, etc.). The pet owner must provide all medication and/or supplements.
– Brushing of pet(s)
– Plant care – watering (if not excessive)
– Mail Collection
– Put Trash / Recycling out for pickup and bring the bins back to the location home owner wants them returned to

Dog Care & Visits
We provide comprehensive care for your canine companions, including feeding, watering, 1:1 playtime, and detailed visit updates via text or email.
Cat Care & Visits
We provide loving care for your cats through feeding, fresh water, litter box maintenance, socialization, playful 1:1 interactions, and consistent updates to keep you informed.
Small Animal/Pocket Pet Care
We provide attentive care for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and other small animals, ensuring they receive proper feeding, fresh water, and regular visit updates.
Pet Waste Clean-Up
We are dedicated to creating a clean and healthy space for your cherished pets by delivering reliable and thorough pet waste removal services you can trust.
Nail/Claw Clipping
We offer nail and claw clipping services for cats (Eric) and Guinea Pigs (Heather).
Please note that not all pets will allow and/or cooperate with their nails being touched and cut. If they have a history of biting, due to this, please make us aware.
Pet Sitting
We offer comprehensive pet-sitting services. Whether you need to leave for a vacation, an emergency, or an extended workday, we can help ensure that your beloved pets enjoy reliable care and dedicated attention in your absence.

What areas do you serve?
We serve Mankato and surrounding areas, offering reliable in-home pet care for a variety of pets, ensuring your pets receive loving attention and care, providing you peace of mind while you’re away.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured for your peace of mind. Additionally, we can provide up-to-date references upon request to assure the safety, professionalism, and trustworthiness of the pet care services we offer.
How often will I receive updates?
We provide updates as frequently as you prefer, even after every visit. Updates include photos, videos, and detailed notes on your pet’s care, so you’ll always stay connected with their well-being.
DO you offer pet boarding?
We do NOT offer pet boarding for dogs or cats. If necessary, and a rare case, we can board a small animal that will need to share the same bedroom of our house with our Mending Spirits’ small foster animals in our care. Our services are about coming to the home of the pet(s), for their comfort and that of their owner.
Do you care for pets other than cats & dogs?
Yes, we have experience with other animals, such as pocket pets, & small pets, such as Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, birds, and the like. We understand their specific needs and ensure they receive proper care, attention, and a comfortable environment. We are always open to more education if there is something your pet specifically needs to have done for it.
How do you handle emergencies?
In the event of an emergency, we’ll immediately contact you and your veterinarian. We follow any emergency care instructions you provide, ensuring your pet’s safety and well-being during unexpected situations.
How long are your visits?
Our standard visits last about 30 minutes, depending on your pet’s needs. If your pet requires extra attention or extended playtime, we can customize the duration of each visit accordingly.
